“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:24-25
Community. It’s at the heart of who Grassroots is. Whether it’s through Tribes, Adult Life Group, or just over coffee with another Grassrooter, we take community seriously. And for good reason, too. As the Body of Christ, we believe that Christ is best represented when his Church does life together well.
Below are just a few of the ways you can get involved in our community. Check out our Calendar for upcoming events.
Grassroots depends on the willingness of its members to take part in this ministry. Whether it’s in children’s ministry, washing dishes, or behind a sound board, community happens in these moments of giving of ourselves through volunteering. Find out what role you can play!
One of the core ways Grassroots does community is through Tribes – smaller gatherings of 8-10 grassrooters who seek to grow and impact the world around them through intentional life together. Read more about Tribes and, if you’re a regular attender, consider joining one.
Grassroots Youth Group (GYG) is nuts. Youth 12-17 are invited to join Dan and Claudine on Monday nights at 7pm for a good ol’ fashioned youth group. Have your teens invite some friends and drop ’em off!
Grassroots has always been a community with a strong ministry for kids. Our Sunday School curriculum seeks to teach the whole narrative of the scripture. Curious to know more? Read about our Children’s Ministry.
Our Men’s Ministry exists to develop community among, well, men. Providing a venue for guys to be open and vulnerable with each other in order to grow is key. Bible studies and morning breakfasts are just a few ways we do that.
