Scott was born and raised in Nepal and Port Rowan, Ontario. He moved to Thunder Bay in 1999 to attend Lakehead University, where he received his HBSc in Forestry and eventually a PhD in Forest Sciences. Scott cares about people. Like, a lot. He’s also big on understanding the Bible and just being in nature.
In addition to serving on the board of Trustees, Scott’s responsibilities on the Lead Team involve, among other things, sharing the responsibility with Kirsten of ensuring pastoral care is provided for the Grassroots community. Scott is married to Angela and together they have three kids.
