God’s Faithfulness is his presence.

On the last Sunday in 2023, Grassroots gathered together to reflect on God’s faithfulness in our community over the past 12 months. There were many ups and downs, bumps in the road, highs and lows of life in community – saying farewell to our interim pastor, saying hello to a new pastor, saying farewell to our much-loved building, being able to stay in said building for a year… so many more as well! 

What does it look like to see God as “faithful” in all of this? We tend to think it’s just his blessings but that would mean God’s suddenly UN-faithful when things don’t go as planned. It’s scripturally more sound to see God’s faithfulness as God’s presence. And his presence has been felt and known in the Grassroots community over the past year.
